UCM's Mission and
Purpose
| Living in response to Jesus Christ,
United Campus Ministry in Aggieland seeks to be a
Christ-centered, welcoming, ecumenical community.
Believing the Holy Spirit infuses the educational
community with a vision of the redeemed world, UCM
strives to honor diversity of thought, faith, and
practice through authentic, growing relationships with
God, neighbor, and self. |

| The purpose of UCM is to offer
Christian fellowship and nurture at TAMU. This will be
accomplished through opportunities for spiritual growth,
encouragement of students to discover their gifts and
talents and express them and by being a Christian group
concerned about each individual. |

| Our ministry adheres to a
strict code of ethics
within the university community and the church. A
grounding in Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture, respect for the academic enterprise, commitment to
healthy student growth and a stance against prosyletism
